About the client

KESEL Group manufactures milling and grinding machines for linear gearings and bandsaw profiles. Active in metal processing and mechanical engineering, it serves industrial clients worldwide. Since 2009, it has been part of GESCO Group, a listed industrial holding that develops mid-sized capital goods companies long-term.

About the project:

Together with the Operations team at KESEL Group, we developed a comprehensive strategy for the digital transformation of their customer service processes. Our goal was to enhance efficiency, transparency, and customer satisfaction through smart digitization.

To achieve this, we first analyzed and restructured the existing workflows, identifying key pain points and improvement opportunities. We then collaborated closely with a specialized software company to design and implement a custom digital solution tailored specifically to KESEL’s unique needs and technical requirements.

A key highlight of the project was the integration of external third-party providers into the platform. This allowed KESEL to offer a broader range of services—such as spare parts management and maintenance support—directly through the tool. As a result, client satisfaction increased significantly due to improved response times and service quality.

Moreover, the digital platform was built with scalability in mind. It was designed to serve not only KESEL, but also other companies within the GESCO Group. This strategic foresight enables future GESCO acquisitions to benefit from an already proven solution, accelerating their own digital transformation journeys and creating long-term synergies across the group.
